Founded in August 2022, Beijing Hedian Technology Co., Ltd. is led by Professor Chen Jitao of Peking University and managed by a senior team in the automobile and new energy industry chain. By July 2024, the company has obtained two rounds of financing of nearly 100 million yuan. Materials-battery integrated R&D centers have been established in Beijing and Suzhou, and R&D cooperation has been carried out with Peking University, American Columbia University, Tongji University and beijing university of chemical technology in frontier fields such as key materials of sodium ion batteries and solid sodium ion batteries. At present, the company has a number of core technologies, and its intellectual property rights are in the forefront of the industry. At present, the first 1,000-ton production line of sodium ion battery cathode material in Anhui Province has been built, and it was officially put into production in June 2024. The developed phosphate cathode products have excellent performance and the technical level is in the forefront of the industry. At present, the company has successively reached strategic cooperation agreements with upstream and downstream partners, and has completed product delivery in the fields of two rounds of electricity, energy storage and starting power supply.
